Committee

The day-to-day management of the Association is undertaken by the elected Officers of the Association who are known as the Executive.

These officers are elected at the AGM and for 2011-12 are:

The President* (June Clarke), the President Elect* (Derek Johnson), the Chair (Chris Berwick), the Honorary Secretary (June Clarke), and the Honorary Treasurer (Michael Stiff)

*Presidents are elected for 2 years and so Dereke Johnson will begin his term of office in 2012.

The General Committee consists of 

  1. The Executive (the five officers of the Executive)
  2. No more than 3 representatives from each affiliated club
  3. The Life Vice-Presidents: Cliff Baguley, Ken Bray, CW Harvey, Richard Float, John Harper, Alan Loasby, Anne Bray.
  4. The Vice-Presidents: Gordon Ward, Peter Markham, Peter Leach, George Cole, Mick Loach, June Clarke, Derek Johnson, Chris Smith.
  5. The Assistant Secretaries & Team Managers:

Track & Field**: Kevin Mee; Technical Officials: Cherie D'Silva; XC: John Skevington; Road-Running: Carol Fossard; Race Walking (vacant post); Press & Publicity: Cherie D'Silva.

Team Managers are: UK CAU Road: John Skevington; UK CAU XC: Ian Wilson - Senior & U20 women; Paul Blissett - girls; Wayne Walker/Michael Stiff - Men & boys; UK CAU Track & Field: Glenys Morton; Junior Inter Counties (T&F): Kelly King: Sportshall: Liz Hinds 

**The Committee have also elected a Track & Field sub-committee from its membership: June Clarke, Cherie D'Silva, Kevin Mee, and Derek Johnson.

*** The Committee also elected an Endurance sub-committee from its membership: John Skevington, John Heywood, Michael Stiff, Peter Osborne. (the details for 2011 are awaited)

The Constitution of L&RAA and all amendments made up to an including 2010 is available on this link to the Constitution file. There is also a Code of Conduct but currently this is not available in a version other than paper (unless you can scan a copy and send it to us). All affiliated clubs were sent the Code of Conduct in 2004.
